Ever ask yourself where the fire in your soul is?? What thrills you-what motivates you?? Why bother even waking up in the morning if your not even excited about what your going to do for the rest of the day?? Its called a waste.

Passion makes compassionate people.

Forget culture!! Society has placed on us demands that we do need a four year education, college degree, husband or wife, 2-3 kids, and a house in a nice suburb with two garage doors. We live in challenging times that demand alternative solutions. It’s sad that in Indian community there exists ideals that young adults feel that they must live up to otherwise be considered as a failure. Personally, I’m not truly in the mood to spend 10 years going to medical school or trying to ruin other peoples lives in court cases!! I do enjoy making people happy and catering to their needs in a way that I can feel fulfilled without the headaches. I think we should live up to our passion- whats inside us that hasn’t been unleashed.

And by the way, psychology is not the easy way out! Its actually the most important subject if you really do want to understand why people are the way they are. Psychology is key for interpersonal relationships.

To my new friend posting below- I think you should write a book!! You should be putting words together if thats your thing!! You should write a book called The Confused Indian and I’ll write the Idiot’s Guide. Heresy is only heresy if we stop ourselves from doing what we want.
