SOMETHING FISHY GOING ON
by Ken LeClair
Nature has many natural remedies for human diseases tucked into some of our most abundant foods. One of the most beneficial and least expensive of these foods in fish oil. Yes, oil from cold water fish such as mackerel, tuna, salmon and cod to name a few plus many others. Fish oil contains two of the most important omega 3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA. These two fatty acids are crucial in developing normal brain and nervous system function and as well as vision, and also protect the body from the development of arthritis.
Heart disease is the number one killer of Americans, and fish oil according to the The American Dietetic Association can reduce the fatty deposits in the arteries that actually cause heart disease. Fish oil has also been shown to reduce the occurrence of breast, colon and prostate cancers. Fish oil has actually been shown to be a ant carcinogen in that it actually kills cancer cells and prevents their forming tumors in the body. Fish oil taken during pregnancy has been shown to reduce the risk of low birth babies and premature births. Fish Oil is also noted for preventing curing many ailments such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus, inflammation of the bowel schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, as well as depression.
The best way to get this fish oil into your body is by eating the fish that the oil comes from. The next best way is to take fish oil supplements. These are surprisingly inexpensive and available in most if not all pharmacies and supermarkets. I recently bought a bottle of 200 soft gels at the supermarket the 1000 mg size, $15 for one and it was buy one get one free to boot. How many 100 mg soft gels should you take? The suggested dosage is one soft gel 3 times daily with a meal. I take 3 in the morning and three at night and 3 after a heavy work out at the gym. I figure something this good and this cheap, I’m going to lavish myself with it.

The alarm rings. 4:30 a.m. You get out of bed with a purpose, and are soon on your way to the gym. You finish your powerful cardio and weights session and fly down the highway fast enough to get to your desk at not a minute past 6:30.
You check your e-mails and face the avalanche of morning meetings. You are prepared for some, but let your instinct and expertise carry you through the rest. You do some office work before you head on-site to meet with one of your facility people to check on the progress of one of your capital projects.
It’s 5pm, and you are on the way home. But you still have to analyze some proposals for an early morning meeting tomorrow, and are still working on renovating the kitchen in your home.
Exhausted? Not a chance. You’re a CEO. Sure, now you have the title, but you’ve always felt like one and acted the part. You never expected any less than the best, and you always delivered when the lights fell bright on your face.
You have that energy, that glow that most can’t comprehend as they lay down watching TV with a pile of potato chips on their stomach.

Desi dating is growing. Indian dating is definitely growing. Desi Exclusives is already on the brink of something great. What does desi dating bring to the table? It brings attention to Indian dating here in America definitely. It brings some kind of nationalism that is appreciated by other cultures as well. “Desi” originally comes from Sanskrit which means regional or provincal. Almost like your divided up like Ontario and Vancouver lol. Desi however is stronger than Canada lol. Desi doesn’t particularily come from a specific nation. It can be said also that its from South Asia and spreads all over the UK and America like wildbees. Desi is really Desi. I am Human, ah! Indian means Indian. Indian dating does exist. “Indian” means “subcontinent of India, ethnice groups of India, South Asia.” Seems similar but is it as broad as Desi? I don’t know, I don’t think so. There are Desis and there are Indians. But then there are also exclusives people. Desi dating, Indian dating, Exclusive dating, holy shit. What about dating desi indian? Or indian exclusive desi? Or exclusive dating indian desi? Whatever it is, its powerful. It can be exclusive to those who know about it and share its wealth of diversity. Now thats exclusive!

3 commentsPHYSCAL AND MENTAL PERFECTION IN AN IMPERFECT WORLD
by Ken LeClair
A newborn cannot speak or walk or feed itself and is completely dependent on others to survive. A first word or a first step is a beginning process that will take this newborn through many stages. The child will learn to crawl and then to walk and then to run and jump and swim and dance. The child will go from a word to words to sentences as language develops. Grammar school begins the education process as math and science and language and social studies begin to fill the mind. The child will learn to play games and then sports like soccer, baseball, basketball, cricket to develop the muscular skills of the body.
The world is different than the nursery, and the human learns that in order to survive and succeed many different and difficult skills must be mastered in a relatively short period of time. One must obtain an education thorough enough to fill the mind with the tools it needs to survive and conquer and achieve. The body must learn to perform many physical tasks that require balance, stamina and strength. The elements of of nature…heat, rain, cold, snow, lightning, tornadoes, earthquakes and floods need to be mastered.
The world becomes a testing ground where only the strong survive in a reasonable state of well being. The mind and the body become a successful team working in tandem to succeed. The gymnast, hockey player, ballet dancer and the bodybuilder use their mind to perfect what they do just as the scientist, doctor, stock broker or teacher must use their physical strength to do what they do. Physical strength and mental prowess work together to propel the individual toward the maximum degree of human accomplishment.
The perfectly tuned and developed body hooked up to the perfectly tuned and developed mind is the epitome of a winning combination. To achieve this one must train the body to be as physically strong and powerful as it can be and to maintain this physical perfection, as well as train one’s mind with complete knowledge and understanding, continuously upgrading and preparing for something grander and better that will lead to perfection.
5 commentsYes, I Love Rap Music. Got a Problem With That?
Yes, I love rap music and hip hop in general. Sure, the lyrics might be offensive, crude, and violent. And yes, many rappers and hip hop artists have in been in trouble with the law, and aren’t good role models. However, the music is entertaining and fun to listen to, and honestly that is all I care about. Like Chris Rock said, “I love rap music, but I’m tired of defending it.”
I honestly don’t take my music seriously. There are times where I can appreciate deep meaningful lyrics. There are other times I want to listen to music that has a good beat and that is something to party to. Let’s be real, I’m not going to be partying at a club, bumping and grinding with a girl, listening to Coldplay. Many hip hop songs are meant to be party songs and not meant to be taken literally. The songs that are deemed violent are usually stories about the rapper’s experiences growing up in the ghetto. Something many people can’t relate to and therefore label it thuggish and criminal.
And let’s be real, I am not the only one that loves hip hop. Many want to conclude that people who love and appreciate the music are thugs themselves from the ghetto. However, a majority of hip hop is bought by white kids. I’ve seen Lil Wayne twice in concert, and have seen Jay-Z twice as well. The crowd was a mix of black and white people. There were no fights or gun shots fired like many people would assume. Hip hop has become a phenomenon and a force to be reckoned with in today’s popular culture. It is not just popular in the U.S., but worldwide. You can hate all you want, hip hop isn’t going anywhere, and is going to be here for the long haul.
6 commentsSweet Dreams, Restless Images
You had such a powerful day. The weather was gorgeous, your boss commended your performance, and you got done with your evening jog in perfect time to catch up with some old friends for a drink.
Your head hits the pillow and off you go into that other world. The images play like a short film. First, laughter and sunshine as your frolic on the beach. Then, it begins to get cloudy and your fortune changes. You wake up startled. Sweating. How could a day so perfect end up so haunting?
It has been documented by some that nightmares that cause us to wake up are indicative of real issues that still plague us- problems we have not resolved. Meanwhile, nightmares that we still manage to sleep peacefully through are indeed beasts that we have already slayed.
How important are images from our subconscious, if we are even able to remember them? What does it say about where we have been, or where we might be headed?
Sleep soundly my friend.
3 commentsBad Decision
Do you ever realize that the choice you are about to make is a bad decision, yet you can’t help but make it anyway? You’ve fallen into such a comfort zone and are perhaps so familiar with the negative consequences that you are essentially powerless to take a stand and change fate.
For some people, this can certainly be a more chronic and serious issue. But for others, we should simply know better. If we indeed have goals as individuals to improve our condition and lead better lives, the next time we see the fork in the road we will make the ‘right’ decision, no matter how hard, uncomfortable, and different it might be.

It’s the bottom of the 9th inning of the baseball game and score is tied. There are two outs and nobody is on base and you are at bat. There are 2 seconds left in the 4th quarter of the football game and score is 28-30 in the other teams favor and the ball is on the 40 yard line. You are the kicker. Now it’s the third period of the wrestling match with 7 seconds left in the period. You are losing 11-4 and you need a pin to win the match and the State Championship. It is election eve and it has been a hard fought battle between you and your opponent and all of the polls show that the election is too close to call. The polls have just closed.
You swing the bat the hardest you ever have and you hear that crack of wood smacking ball and it sounds like the loudest thing you’ve ever heard and you hear the crowd screaming as the ball heads to the deepest corner of the park. The ball is snapped and you kick it with everything you have and your heart stops beating as you watch it sail perfectly straight toward the goal posts. You have your opponent on his back and with every ounce of your being you pound your body into his forcing his shoulders blades toward the matt.
Time seems to stand still as you run the bases with the roar of the crowd chasing you. Your whole team is on their feet screaming as they run out of the dug out to greet you. You can hear a pin drop as the crowd watches the football sail towards the end zone and then erupts into cheering as it passes between the uprights and you see the score change as the final second runs out. Your lungs are about to burst as your opponent winces beneath you and then the ref slaps the matt in front of your face and you know you have pinned your opponent and won it all. The votes come poring in and the t.v. announcers report a stuninng landslide victory on your behalf as the undecideds break solidly for you and you are declared the winner. How does it feel? Only the champs know.
